We are trying something completely different this week starting the 21st!! Smoked and Blackened Duck Breast finished with a orange demi glace. A demi glace is a rich brown sauce in French cuisine used by itself or as a base for other sauces. We are pairing this dish with a cranberry-pepita wild rice and Parmesan roasted brussel sprouts. We will be offering the Brussel Sprouts as a extra side choice too!
Our soup starts with a rich IPA Beer cheese base and then is loaded with fresh cut veggies and served with cornbread on the side.
Our drink special this week is a Orange Cranberry Vodka Fizz!
We are making a Caramel Apple Cobbler bar for dessert.

I am excited to announce that we are bringing back the SJB Turkey Melt! Smoked turkey breast sliced, house made candied bacon, sharp cheddar cheese with a raspberry habanero jam toasted on sour sough. This will be served with a side of your choice. This week starting Thursday, November 7th we are seasoning and smoking a Loaded Baked Potato. We are topping it with a beer cheese sauce, smoked and seasoned burnt ends, french fried onions and house pickled jalapenos. It is amazing!
We are also making a Crawfish Cioppino soup starting with a tomato fish stock, veggies and crawfish. This is served with cornbread.
Our drink of the week is a Spicy Apple Margarita. If you need something to warm you up, start with a Maple Bourbon Hot Toddy!
Save room for dessert because this week we are having Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Guess what is coming back starting Thursday? The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich! We have only had this one other time. We start with a boneless, skinless, chicken thigh, blackened and toss it in a Nashville hot sauce. It is then topped with melted Swiss, pickles, lettuce, tomato and finished with a BBQ mayo on a toasted hamburger bun. This will be served with a side of your choice.
The soup this week is a creamy Bacon and Beer Cheese Cauliflower soup. Cornbread comes on the side as always!
We are keeping the theme going and making a Lynchburg Lemonade made with Tennessee Whiskey at the bar. You will not want to pass this drink up... We can’t leave out those desserts. We are making an oldie but goodie! Kahlua Cake topped with chocolate mousse and heath pieces. Yumm
