We understand that people want something different when they enjoy going out to eat at their favorite restaurant. Each week here at Stone Jug we create a special entree, soup, dessert bar and a new variation of bread pudding. This will give your taste buds a unique taste you won’t find anywhere else in the Illinois Valley. You never know what we’ll create for the Weekly Special, so be sure to check back every week.

SJB Whiskey Steak Sandwich

June 17-20, 2021

Starting Thursday through Sunday, the Whiskey Steak Sandwich has made it's way back and just in time for Father's Day weekend! This sandwich is another favorite here at "The Jug"! We are marinating and grilling a 6 oz sirloin steak, topping it with sautéed onions, Portobello mushrooms and Havarti cheese all on a buttered toasted hoagie along with a side of our fire-roasted street corn or a side of your choice.
Try our Creamy Corn Chowder soup loaded with veggies and bacon and served with a side of cornbread.
We have a couple new sides we are adding onto the menu this week. Try the Bacon and Blue Cheese Potato Salad or we have Fire-Roasted Street Corn on the Cob topped with Queso Fresco, blackening seasoning and cilantro.
Try a Strawberry Basil Bourbon Lemonade at the bar this week! Made from local Whiskey Acres Bourbon out of DeKalb, Illinois.
We are bringing back some of our "old school" desserts! Lemon Bars with a Citrus Glaze and our Original Bread Pudding with a Bourbon Glaze!
