Weekly Special

We understand that people want something different when they enjoy going out to eat at their favorite restaurant. Each week here at Stone Jug we create a special entree, soup, and our homemade bread pudding. This will give your taste buds a unique taste you won’t find anywhere else in the Illinois Valley. You never know what we’ll create for the Weekly Special, so be sure to check back every week.

SJB Veracruz Mahi

Here at Stone Jug we love to keep you guessing on our next special! This week we think you will enjoy this brand new dish. The SJB Veracruz Mahi is perfectly seasoned with our blackening spices and accompanied with a Veracruz sauce that's made from diced tomatoes, capers, olives, onion and oregano. This sauce is Mediterranean style dish. This will also be served with an orzo pasta flavored with fresh chopped herbs, olive oil, salt and pepper. I promise you won't want to miss out on this starting Thursday!
The soup is Green Bean and Sausage in a cream base with potatoes, celery, onion and pepper. This will be served with a piece of our cornbread.
We will also be bringing back our Brisket Chili served with cornbread and crackers and all the fixings on the side.
Grab a piece of dessert before you head out. We will have Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding with a Peanut Butter Glaze.
